Jennifer Nadeau, RYT

Jennifer NadeauJennifer is the founder and director of Jai Yoga. As a yoga teacher, her classes are often organized around a central theme to take you on a mental or spiritual journey. “I use hands-on assists when necessary, but I tend to use verbal instruction more often. I want students to stay inward as much as possible and to gain real self knowledge,” she says. Jen is a Maine native, who spent five years living and creating in New York City. She returned to Maine to build a more rural, beautiful, quiet life with her sweetheart, partner, soulmate, husband, Tony. In April of 2009, Jennifer and Tony became the loving parents to daughter Mia. Jen believes there is no better preparation for childbirth or parenting than a regular, dedicated yoga practice. Jennifer is passionate about bringing her practice of yoga into her life in its many roles: as human, as community member, as business owner, as wife and partner, as mother. She is also a friendly neighborhood beekeeper, with interest in organic gardening and permaculture.
