Our special classes and workshops are opportunities to deepen your practice or take it in a new direction.
Pre-registration is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for these special events and workshops. Sometimes they fill up and we have to turn folks away at the door. Sometimes we need to change a time or location. By registering at least 2 days in advance, you get all the juicy details! We will contact you to confirm receipt of your registration.
We can sometimes accommodate drop-ins for these classes though the price may be slightly higher. Please call for information and availability before dropping-in.

MEDITATATION, DHARMA, YOGA
ONGOING MONDAYS 7:15-8:15 pm
For those interested in meditation, Buddhism and Yoga, a group is forming to meditate together, and share thoughts, experiences and wisdom. Together, we look closely at how meditation, the dharma and our yoga practice can be at the very center of our everyday life. While we will learn from each other, the group is not meant to be instructional. Donations will benefit the Jai Yoga Scholarship Fund. David will facilitate this group.

Meet other expectant moms in this fun and relaxing class. Learn to use meditation and breath to create calm and confidence as you prepare for the labor of childbirth and to guide you into parenting. Develop the strength, flexibility and tone your body needs to support you and your baby through this amazing experience. This class if for women at any stage of pregnancy and can be started anytime. We recommend a consult with your care provider before attending a yoga class. We are happy to consult with you care provider also if needed. Drop-ins are welcome, space permitting. BABY & ME YOGA
WEDNESDAYS APRIL 9-MAY 28 10-11am 8 classes $90

New moms or dads and babies 4 weeks through 18 months. Learn postures and breath that you can practice with your baby. Poses focus on creating and restoring strength and flexibility for mom/dad, parent-child bonds, baby massage and baby yoga postures to aid digestion and development. BASICS YOGA SERIES FOR NEW BEGINNERS

Our basics classes are ongoing and they run in 8 week cycles. If you are brand new to yoga we highly recommend that you take the entire 8 weeks series, starting with the first class. You may also drop in to a single class provided there is space available. The basics class is a great way to review essential alignment, philosophy and breathing techniques. Our basics classes have been filling up and to assure that we keep the class size manageable, we request that if you are planning to come to the entire series or if you like to drop in, please call us to let us know in advance. Restorative yoga uses blankets, blocks, cushions, ties and the wall to support the body in a complete letting go. Releases tension, calms the nervous system, removes the toxic leftovers from stress and floods the body with happiness and bliss. A gentle and slow-paced class. Totally relaxing, no experience necessary.

COUPLES WORKSHOP FOR BIRTH PREPARATION
PLEASE CALL WITH YOUR INTEREST $60/couple
Learn postures and breath work to ease labor and delivery. Develop skills to birth with confidence, peace and joy! This class is especially helpful for the support person, as it provides that person with the skills and inspiration to be the steady support and coach that mom needs. KUNDALINI YOGA FOR THE SPINE

Through different movements and breath work we will revitalize the spine as well as the muscles along the sides of the spine. We will discuss Spinal Biomechanics (structure and function) and how yoga can help with different types of back pain. as well as a meditation to stimulate the chakra system. All levels are welcome.
