Coronavirus Update 3/30/20

The studio will be closed through the month of April 2020
Virtual Live Yoga Classes are available now.
On-demand videos are also available. We have published only a couple.
Many more are in the works.

Dear Jai Yoga Community,

We have been monitoring the news of coronavirus (COVID-19) carefully, and we are saddened to hear of the individuals and communities who have been affected. Our hearts go to all who have been impacted.

The health and wellbeing of our community are of utmost importance to us, and as such we have decided to cancel all group classes and close the studio for a 2 week period, starting March 16 through the end of April. We ask for your understanding and support. In the decision to close the studio, we are joined by many other organizations, businesses, schools and families who are practicing social distancing in an effort to slow the spread of this pandemic. Our local health care providers suspect that COVID-19 is here in our Brunswick community. With testing and reporting still forthcoming, they are stressing that some of us could be unsuspecting carriers. Breaking the ties of transmission is currently our best defense to stemming the tide of exponential outbreak. Our yoga community intersects with multiple age groups, multiple towns, and many organizations. Therefore, we do not feel that we can provide a safe and healthy practice environment at this time. We want to do our part to slow the rate of spread. This feels like the best and only decision that prioritizes you, our students and clients, as well as our staff. At the end of April, we will evaluate the state of this health crisis, and make the decision week-to-week as to when to re-open.

We know that this time will call all of us to be at our best. We know that the power of yoga to ground, center, and calm will be a great help to all of us. We wish to support you in continuing your practice, especially at this time. We have developed virtual options to continue your yoga practice with us from home in the weeks ahead. We also are offering a Yoga Stimulus Package for unlimited access to all of our online yoga classes for $45/month. We also have a pay-what-you-can option.
